Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is for anyone who wants to improve both their emotional and physical health and well-being by removing negative emotions and feelings. It was developed in America by Gary Craig in the early 1990s, from psychologist Dr Roger Callahan’s ‘Thought Field Therapy’ and is now widely used throughout the world.

The easiest way to explain EFT is to describe it as ‘Acupuncture without needles’. It involves tapping on various acupuncture points, while concentrating on a particular problem. You can overcome your fears, phobias and negative emotions using this simple technique and it can often bring relief within minutes.  It has been used successfully to treat a variety of issues including stress, anxiety, fears, phobias, weight loss, eating disorders, addictions and many more.EFT is a stand alone therapy but can also be used to compliment other therapies.  EFT can often work where other therapies have failed.

EFT can easily be performed in person, via  the telephone or using Skype.

The Bars (Access Consciousness)

The process of “Running your Bars” involves lightly touching 32 energy points on your head which releases and removes any self-limiting thoughts, beliefs, judgements or stuck energy. It is similar to doing a defrag and clean up on your computer where you delete certain files and folders that are no longer of any use to you. This creates space for all sorts of new possibilities to arise or manifest. You will feel much lighter, less stressed, calm and energised.

Receiving The Bars

In Person

This can be done in person, fully clothed and usually lying down. The session can last from 20 mins to 60mins. It is wonderfully relaxing, lying down and drifting off knowing that all your old files are gently being deleted from your memory bank.

‘Distance’ Bars session

This can be done while you sleep or while you sit or lie quietly. Just relax, let go and receive!

Learning to run Bars for others

As a Bars Facilitator I am also able to help you learn how to run Bars for other people such as family, friends, relatives or clients. This involves attending a one day Workshop/Training Day. I run these workshops or training days throughout Scotland when there are 5 or more people who want to attend.

This is done through verbal questions, muscle testing and using theta brainwave to release, let go or change the self-limiting belief or behaviour. The effect can often be felt immediately.
